I am Yana, the photographer who will make your next photoshoot a pleasant adventure rather than a stressful chore. Come to my studio for your personal portrait, invite me to create a standout story about your business, or take me for a fun walk at the park with your family, and we’ll enjoy this time together. In my pictures, I seek movement, expressed feelings and emotions. I enjoy creating artistic portraits that show off my client’s personality, profession and style, organizing and executing editorial style shoots with a surrealistic touch. I am a huge fan of retro style monochrome portraiture, and I do environmental fashion shoots for stylists who inspire me with their incredible designs.

ART PROJECTS

I live with my husband and two daughters in a cute town named Pleasanton, in the San Francisco Bay Area. I was born in Moscow, grew up in Israel and several years ago moved with my family to California. Extensive travel made me incredibly open to different cultures. I love the Californian lifestyle and I enjoy meeting new people every day, learning their traditions and finding new friends. My first education is in Life Sciences, and thanks to that I have a pragmatic and organized approach to whatever I do. I have been a photographer for almost a decade, and since I am a lifelong student, I take classes towards M.A. in commercial photography at the Academy of Art University, and enjoy every minute.
