The Golden Age of Flying
This particular era of aviation history took place between 1919 and 1940 when bi-planes raced through the skies of Allegheny County and Western Pennsylvania. Many of the pilots were women who flew their planes from one of at least four air fields in the area. Many of the photographs taken during this time period will be on display to the public for the first time.
A selection of many other aviation photographs will also be on display as well as a historical timeline of the evolution of flight.
